On Your Facebook Application:
- Tap on the menu button at the top right-hand of the page
- Scroll down and tap on "Account settings"
- On the pop-up screen, tap "General"
- On the pop-up screen, tap on "Manage account" to take you to Legacy contact and Deactivation settings.
- On the pop-up screen, tap on "Legacy Contact"
- Tap on "Remove"
- On the pop-up screen, you will be asked if you are sure you want to remove legacy contact and you will be told the consequences of removing legacy contact. Tap on "Remove"

On Your Browser:
- Click on the drop-down
button in the top right of Facebook
- On the drop-down menu, click on "Settings"
- On the pop-up page, click on "Manage Account"
- On the drop-down menu, tap on "Remove" (under the Legacy contact's name)
- On the pop-up screen, you will be asked if you are sure you want to remove legacy contact and you will be told the consequences of removing legacy contact. Click on "Remove"
